You could create a latching circuit for momentary triggers,
e.g. by using an SR Flip Flop.

But you have to tailor it for your application,
and it needs a little additional space, and additional wiring.

If you are not familiar with logic gates and Flip Flops etc.
it's worth anyway to research a bit about it,
and maybe learn something new. 

Personally I think I would create a Flip Flop from 2 NOR gates,
and care for sufficient output current to drive the 2 LEDs,
if I would be forced to use this Rx.

But honestly, I would simply replace the Rx to an Rx6x type.
