Front view.

Left section housed an air compressor,
and the Pelton-Doble wheel, driving a 2 Megawatt generator.

Right hand section housed a Fairbanks-Morse 3 cylinder semi-diesel,
which with a belt drive, would be used during periods of low water.

The fill supporting the front of the plant,
buried the former 3 ft gauge Kaslo & Slocan Railway grade.

Remains of some trestle bents,
still stand off to the left of the prototype structure.
