:apl: I can picture a table with a print, An Acetelyne torch set A Ladder /Platform set up and a couple guys at the print discussing how Best to scrap this Beast......Why can I picture that?? Because I once spent a little time scrapping big hulking pieces of Mining Equipment......... :)

(note) - While we did use Acetelyne on occassion most cutting was done with Propane Torches which required a bit more knowledge & a specific technique......Propane is far cheaper than acetelyne and WILL cut as fast in the right hands..........some of the Shovel tracks we were cutting had Solid Steel Pads 6" thick 8-10" wide and 8 feet long....Each pad was cut into 4 pieces and each cut piece took 2 guys to load!! 1 crew would spend 2 days Per side Just on the one track.
