Before we had a trip on the Wells to Wallsingham railway we took a walk along by the harbour and took these pictures from on top of the path alongside the road.

They are of a little 10 ΒΌ gauge railway that runs for about a mile to the Pinewoods Holiday Park. Howard is an 0-6-0 steam outline engine that is powered by a Perkins 3cylinder diesel engine that drives a Lindey hydraulic drive.

For more details see website.

Loco being turned at the Wells end of the run.

He then backs onto his train, couples up and sets off for the holiday park.
