Controlling one loco at a time..absolutely! When you "get into" radio control, you will come to the realization that YOU are the engineer of the loco, one engineer running one loco. I am not saying that you can't run more than one at a time but consider this...you are running a couple of engines, your attention is with one, the other one runs against a turnout and derails. Without pesky track wiring, that loco will continue to run...across the scenery, maybe into the concrete canyon. Beware of multi tasking when you use r/c. Just like the real thing, you are in the cab.
