I intended to do some more construction work on the SAR garden layout this afternoon, but the day was so nice I decided to do some railfanning instead.

First up was this coal train

Then I spotted a heritage train rolling across the plains in the distance

A quick dash to the top of the Para Gorge and I was able to catch up with 702

and then another quick run to the tourist station, just in time to see the steam loco, pulling away from the station on its return trip

Much better than working, time I think for a beer
