Gentlemen:

I have a 25-year-old M.R.C. 'Tech 3' - "Power Command" analog controller,
with Voltmeter, Ammeter, Rotary Speed Control, Direction, Brake & Momentum switches,
and fixed Voltages for turnouts & trackside lighting etc.

I used this controller many years ago, for my big L.G.B. train on a 150-foot dogbone layout running between my house & garage.

It did the job with no strain !

After laboriously wading through the over-abundance of functions on my new M.R.C. 'Prodigy 2' advanced D.C.C. controller,
it was a breath of fresh-air & a pleasure to go back to Analog control !

Even though my new Atlas O-Scale 2-Rail GP60 loco has full D.C.C. & 16-bit sound on board.
I'm still able to get the sounds I want, by manipulating the Direction switch with the required manual "touch".

Is this a testimony praising the Analog over the D.C.C. control system ?

Could be ...
