|I'm finishing a very cramped 0-4-0 gasoline loco in On30. I've used small decoders in cramped space before, but I'm puzzled by the products available today. Digitrax now offers an SDN 144PS that will fit, at a cost of $40.96 including speaker, while the comparable Soundtrax TSU750 costs $114.76 w/o speaker (both at Tony's Train Exchange). Are these products comparable? If so, why the price difference? Must I also buy Soundtrax programmer to get the sound I want?
