Shady Grove is a small lakeside town diorama under construction.

The diorama is 600mm x 200mm in size.

Once I planned and started building town diorama and waterfront diorama in S scale with N gauge track.

I scratchbuilt ten or so structures for these dioramas; drug store, shoe repair shop, boat shop, truss bridge, etc.

But, I stopped building these dioramas. Withdrawal... :td:

In August of this year, I planned the new diorama and restarted building new diorama, using "second-hand"  (or third-hand) structures.

Shady Grove Station

Shady Grove station is a very small station with short platform, passenger shelter, ticket office, and weathered outhouse, of course.

This was newly built for the Shady Grove diorama, not a second-hand structure.

Seven years ago, I scratch-built an On30 abandoned streetcar stop for my friend. (see lower picture)

Shady Grove station is the S scale version of this abandoned car stop.

Of course, this time it is not abandoned. ;)

Main Street Complex

Main street of Shady Grove doesn't have road.
The street consists of wooden boardwalks and staircases, unusually.

Stores and shops stand on the step-formed base.

I show the building process of the complex.

To be continued.
