One thing that I never liked about the ''constant'' light with diodes is that with trolleys or interurbans the light gets preceptively brighter when the car starts off (due to the model motor drawing a little more current) rather than the protypical dimming under the same conditions (due to voltage drop in the overhead because the motors are drawing more current)

Never figured a quick and dirty fix for this--would undoubtedly require transistors, chips*, or other such that I don't understand--so don't use lights--but it all ways annoyed me.

*Well, I do understand potato chips, but don't think that helps----
