Thx. I am REALLY tempted by that - there are some pretty cool On30 locos. If you have not been following my saga here in the last couple of weeks, I intend to make an outdoor layout. Yes, I understand the challenges, etc. in doing this in anything other than G gauge but am going to try (if I decide to do O or On30 gauge).

The biggest deal with On30 is I fear it is just as small as S scale or O semi-scale, and I might want something bigger. But hat is why I am purchasing one of each to set out where the layout will go and see how the sizes fit.

But I like the On30 stuff so much I might just get some track, etc. to go with it and have it anyway. And yes, it is much less expensive than actual O scale stuff.
