Ryan, sorry to hear about that. I have to ask, has MICROSOFT uploaded "new updates" to you? I had the same problem TWICE and it happened after MS did their deed. I reset my computer to an "earlier time"-before the suspected uploads, and everything worked as normal. I don't know if it would work for you but it did for me. These days, if I get a message that MS is uploading a new yadda yadda...since I can't turn them off, I hit the shut down button and wait a while. Everything is OK afterward. Whatever they are trying to do, I don't want. And nobody can tell me what the deal is anyway!
