Lee, yes it is possible to build something similar to Giles' work...but it would take some serious funds! Giles has the good fortune (besides being an artist and micro-surgeon) that he has access to the ultra small receivers which make these vechicles possible. proportional forward/reverse and steering. From what I understand, such "Eurpoean" devices are "banned" by our Homeland Security because crazies "can make bomb detonators" from them! However, if the parts could be had here, maybe we could talk. I have wanted, for years, to build a nice 1:32 or 1:35 Model T, etc. which would be r/c...but my problem is that the front suspension of such a model would need to be scratch built since it shows (details) and would have to be made from metal. But also, am I more interested in running trains or running r/c cars? Hmmm...
