If it wasn't for disability settlement in 2009 wiht over a year's worth of back pay I would have very little G. I figured that was my chance and went shopping wiht intent to help out a recently opened hobby shop in our rural midwest burg of 8,300 or so. Economy has since forced closing of that shop.

Have heard modelers with LGB products talking about issues with time of production and country of production; some ya want, some ya don't.
What few LGB products I have handled felt sturdy and well made.
