 Yep, throwing things away which aren't up to "snuff" or maybe the idea has matured or perhaps...

I had several small sections which really didn't serve any purpose or had grades (unwanted in the next layout) or how about this-I may, just may "relocate" the SCPA&M a bit further south to say, Big Bend, Texas. My friend Sullivan chose this area for his Chisos Railway (before he got subverted by diesels and British steam) and my original intent on the old Mogollon Railway was to build it in the same area. So, the idea ain't new.
Still thinkin' about that one.
Now, imagine a 2 footer running in deep canyons past desolate mountains along the US/Mexico border. Yes, pigs CAN fly.

This structure was a "faithful" model of the Big Bend Park office in the 1940's. This from the old Mogollon Railway, the building got demolished when the power line crashed on it-the end of the MRy.
