Aaaaah, 9mm:foot....now you're talking my language!
I have modeled NZ's railways in this scale for maybe ten years.
Not a lot to show for it,
but I have picked up the pace recently,
ever since a health scare lit a fire under my rear.
If you want to see some classic American railroading on 42" gauge,
look up the Wellington & Manawatu railway,
this was a private company that imported a lot of equipment from the USA,
Baldwin locomotives, and passenger cars from Jackson & Sharp for example.
I am using it for inspiration, along with the D&RGW and EBT,
for my own freelance railway.
