|Here's another oldie...This one was a wood kit built by old Mudge (AKA Bill Caldwell) back in the early 60's. She had Central Valley Fox trucks, Baker couplers (hidden between loco and cars), and to frost the cake...the lettering & herald was HAND PAINTED!
How about that? The old scratch built 0-4-0t to the left(built by Bill also) had KD MKD couplers (non magnetic)
And then there was this:
A MANTUA "Belle of the 80's" 4-4-0. This old gal had a brass boiler, cab, and tender wrapper. And sported CV Fox trucks. She was a little worse for wear by 2000, having been built in about 1955 or so!
