I read your post on July 30th about 1:35n2 modelers, and even tho I'm old :old dude:and retired:2t: I'm still building the Gilpin Tram in 1:35n2.:glad:

I can't wait to see your [INDOOR] Silver City, Pinos Altos and MOGOLLON :apl: Post pictures ASAP.

Here we go...another layout...that's what we need! I will add some more to this thread as time flys (of flies) but for now, I am knee deep in blue foam, glue, and nickel silver rail.

Woodie,

Due to limited space inside the house coupled with ever-expanding plans for my 35n2 layout I'm considering setting up the layout under a covered patio that's off the back end of the garage.  Is there anything that I need to be worried about?  The track will be painted so that should protect it from UV.  How about fixing scenery (ballast, sand, dirt) to the layout?  I'm concerned that white glue might not do the job.

Any suggestions or insights would be welcomed.

use weld wood 2 water proof glue i glued a handle on a coffee cup and it has held up to many trips thru the dish washer
