Dave was a huge help in getting this available.  :glad::glad::glad::glad:

In fact, he did the test drive and came up with the final suggestion of breaking the book down into sections for folks with older PC's.  I forgot when I created this that my PC has dual Processors, a gig of memory and almost a T-bite of storage.

Anyhow, I am most honored that of all the magazines and annuals that Dave could have EASILY been in, I was able to get him in print first.:Woohoo::Woohoo:

SOOOOOO

It has been four years in the making and for the first time on CD EBook form, The Tall Timber Railroad is now available.  This 9x12 On30 layout was featured as a railroad you can build with a monthly series of articles that ran until Model Railroading magazine was no longer published.  Unfortunately the series was never completed in Model Railroading magazine.

Now, this CD EBook features all of the completed chapters with tips on painting, weathering, photography, and more.  In addition, there are special written and photographic contributions never before printed, from well known model railroader Dave Deno.  There is also an updated section on hand laid track and a reference to a free CAD program you can download and use.

This book features 107 pages and nearly190 photographs and illustrations.  Also included in the Tall Timber Railroad CD EBook is a comprehensive list of links to logging sites, railroads, manufactures, and more!  This is a must have for any scale model railroader or enthusiast.

The CD has both MS Word .DOC versions and Adobe .PDF versions and all of the graphics have been compressed for print form. You can easily print this book or view it from your PC.  Also, each chapter has been separated in both MS Word and Adobe formats so older computers can open the book up by individual chapter without wiping out your virtual memory.

Available direct from me at my website listed. ;););)

This was not a free download, Ken put many hours in getting this book together.

I am not sure if it is still available, you will notice it was published in in 2008.

Try contacting Ken via his web site

I bought it two years ago and have built it. Fun layout and the cd had enough info that my terrible modeling skills was able to follow. Thanks.
The new expansion starts soon
