Dwyane-as long as you will be in NM, run over to Mogollon-north of Silver City. I know you would like the funkiness.

Your layout is surely fine. I always love those crossovers & switches and the fun they can be in operation. I hope to see it "in the flesh" sometime. Be careful on your trip. Woodie

Dwane-

Is the middle track on the left end going to be extended to a future module?
Or are you still going with the transfer table?

Very nice work Dwyane, I really like the transfer table. :thumb:

How tall is the back drop & what did you make it out of & how is it joined together at the corners??

Dwayne-

The more that I look at what you have so far, the more operational possibilities I see.

I also see that you are using hand thrown switches, which is definitely the way to go on that type layout.

You have hours of engrossing operation in your future according to my crystal ball!

Glenn,

The backdrop is black 1/8" foamcore board about 10" off the layout surface. Presently the corners are not glue yet just pinned. I plan on using hot glue for the corners. The backdrops are glue to the side of the base with Loctite Power grip one of two of my favorite glues the other Elmers Yellow glue which is what I used to assemble the 1/2" foamcore board base and attach the track.

Last couple of evening's have been cleaning track and finish wiring on the transfer table and adding front fasica (more black foamcore) and 1/4" phono jack for power attachment.

Oh and test running some trains...:):):)
