Gordon-that's excellent! The outriggers look just as beat up as I would expect them to be. Like James said-the chipped off yellow contrasts nicely with the rest of the machine. I can say no more...if you don't win the "challenge", then there's something wrong with the judges!     Woodie

Noticed you were doing 1:35n2, 1/35 is the scale I work in mostly now as well.

You might actually like what I am working on right now, a 1/35 scale Fordson 7v ... circa 1943.

And as we are talking cranes, here is the internals of one in 1/35 ...

... Mostly scratch built but you might recognise some parts  ;)

Hi Gordon.

I think ICM do a nice Fordson ? ?

Thanks for the pic. !

I do notice part of an Airfix locomotive crane & other 1:35 auto-parts !!

I have been messing with the Airfix crane as well !!

Trying to come up with a motor/winch bay like you have...

...based on Airfix winch/jib-mounts, Ford V8 Quad engine...

...& a pair of Vals old nickers !!

Si.

The 'budget' BBC,-TV of the '70s is helping as well ! :moose:
