I'm a bit scared to buy a grass machine with over 15Kv...
That's because of swedish law, which states that electrostatic hand tools over 20Kv is considered a handgun.... And will give you at least $3000 in fines or prison.
We have a prejudice, where a man rebuilt a fly zapper to give 35Kv to kill wasps.
Somehow the police found out about it, and he got 1 year on probation and $4000 in fines....

Following greenery magician Martin's advice, I decided some months ago to buy the RTS Greenkeeper.
A long discusion with Mr. Wallet ended in compromise and I ordered the 35Kw version.
I tried it a couple of times but just recently started to seriously learn how to use it.
There is only one thing I regret: I should have ordered the 55Kw version.
Not that the 35Kw has any issues.
I am really happy with it and finding no trouble at all, not even at using 12mm static grass.
But seeing how many things one can do with it, I am sure the 55Kw. version must offer plenty of more posibilities.
For example at making delicate work reaching difficult to access spots... Hmm... (...May be next year...)
But 35 or 55Kw, definitely a tool for the rest of my journey.
