Posting pictures.

Here is how I do it.

Open Photobucket account

Open Freerails

Having these opened allows you toggle back and forth.

Post picture to Photobucket

Left click  Direct Link  (Second Panel down )

Right click and select Copy

Toggle back to Freerails

Select New Topic or Reply to an existing Topic

Type in your message

THEN double click on ENTER ( this will create a space between text and picture )

Click on the 3 coloured ball icon ( Upper right of this screen)

This will now show as a URL Panel.

Remove the text with in the panel

Right Click on panel

Select PASTE

Your picture should now appear in the post.

If you wish to add text or a picture double click enter to create a space and just repeat as you choose.

Hope this is of some help

Don

The models seem to "work" too - they look excellent (and I also like the photography).

Regards,

Huw.

John-

Posting pictures isn't hard, it just takes a little guidance which I'm sure Don will help you with.

I'll bet there are a lot of folks here that are eager to see your work!

WHOOPS! looks like you got it- looks good!

Hi John,

"Mr Hutchinson" is a bit much.  I have been travelling O/S a bit last year so my modelling is as much the same as ever.  You modelling still remains most remarkable; I think you can give those yanks a run fro their money.

We having the NMRA meeting at my place this Sunday, though it it would be a long trip for you.  Look forward to catching up with you when the opportunity arrives.

For those not familair with John's work; he is quite a prolific structure builder and has built some wonderful rail diorama's including a model of Echuca (Narchuca) Wharf. Examples of John's modelling can be found at the NMRA Australian Site. http://www.nmra.org.au/Layout_Tours/John_Hunter/John%20Hunter.html

John is also co-builder, with Dan Pickard, of the Dolly Varden Railway in On30 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAsqi5evRPk

:bg:Greetings John from Colorado. Glad you joined up. After seeing your work I'm sure you could fill us in on a number of your methods. Absolutely great work on the Dolly Varden. It took about two minutes to flip over it when I first saw it. Kind of ironic because myself and a couple others were just talking about it in Caboose Hobbies on last Sunday. I guess I could be accused of blasphemy because Caboose is my church.
