"A friendly bunch of experts" I would name the exhibitors at the Wulften NG meeting. There are many different layouts and module arrangements (instead of the large 0n30 modul arrangement which is the main focus at Stromberg).
It's not unusual in this community to make a model for the own needs, but make it as a kit for fellow modellers too. So there are many "hot" news, projects and pilot models. Of course I had a lot of talks with friends and visited the trading stands - it was a great time.

Gerhard shows his layout and was looking for other friends of american railroads

Detlef built this two diesels from milled styrene and additional parts, the lower from a KS (Kalle) -Kit

Ralf is a modeller by profession, but this Garratt he built for his own from a Backwoods-kit

Juergen organizes the meeting every year. His operational dio is a masterpiece.

The prototype is a tiny 2ft-loco named "Diana", but Ralf and Kalle decided to make a "fullsized" 0n30 loco from it. So there are some discussions... I think, it's a nice looking "big sister", and scaling up and down was usual in every real locomotive work also. The chassis is from a Bachmann Consolidation.

The end of a modul arrangement.

enjoy
Michael

Thanks for sharing these Michael.

I am jealous.

There are few things I enjoy more, than sitting with fellows who share modeling interests, and bouncing ideas back and forth between us.

Thanks for posting the pictures, Michael- some really nice modeling there.

Great idea having a tree down across the track as a temporary "end of track"!!

Again, if the pictures are removed from the hosting site they will disappear from FreeRails.

You're not doing anything wrong. You just tried to view photos from the past. Granted, I'm surprised that pictures posted just last March are already gone. It happens.

Thanks for that Mr. Sullivan. Since I got this new Windows 7 I've found several things that didn't work like they did on Vista so I just assumed this was another glitch. Too bad though. Looks like I'm missing a lot of great pictures. Pete
