here are a couple of links to mario rapinets web site where a tribute to world famous modeler BRIAN NOLAN of florida.

His greatest accomplishment ( imo ) was the detroit narrow gauge convention O scale championship diorama build that can only be called STUNNING. He used Tom yorke basic walls from toms #105 rustic stone and frame kit and also toms C-1..cabin on the hill kit.

I had the oportunity once to have cause to speak with him on the telephone and he was a most gracious person.

I spotted the news on the on30  conspiracy yahoo group.

That is truly sad.  I got to know Brian briefly and he really was one of the most gracious people I've ever met.  I was looking forward to seeing him at the Convention next month.

This news just knocked the air right out of me.
The hobby has lost a wonderful modeler and a source if great inspiration.

My condolences to his many friends and family.
