It appears that yahoo in all their wisdom and obviously a lot of techie people with nothing to do for the large salary have decided to overhaul and revamp the look and way the individual groups operate.

I was just on the weathering group and trying to navigate it according to a couple of posts i read is more like roaming around in FACEBOOK.  I have never been there, but i do not like what i just ran into operating wise.  Thats it , just logged off and left all my 21 groups that i still could leave, because there is no way to leave the new system, your a MEMBER FOR LIFE .

Mike:-

Have you tried saying something offensive.

You will not need to resign, maybe they will give you the boot.

Maybe I better find some wood to knock on...none of the yahoo groups I am in have been "messed with". Was there so much backlash that yahoo abandonded their mischief? Or will the trickle down hit those groups soon? I do know that the Texas Outlaws are concerned about this but nothing on the other groups.

Mike, you might try editing your membership, I have gotten out of other yahoo groups by clicking on "leave this group"...

its coming and there is no stopping it, so they say.  The almightly GRAND YAHOO has cast his ...her...their spell and it shall be.  After all they do have all those hairball techies who have to earn a salary.

I equate it to going to your favorite store after they have been closed for a weekend and finding absolutely everything in the whole store has been moved to another area. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Takes almost a year to figure it all out.  I just keep asking the staff where everything is , just to keep them on their toes.

I was able to click on each group and EDIT MEMBERSHIP, which has a LEAVE GROUP box at bottom of the page.......once you do that your toast.  I was toasted 19 times.......only thing i kept was the yorke kits group, just to follow any possible info popping up before they switch it over to THE NEW WAY .

Woodie go to yahoo groups and search for WEATHERING and what you see there on that groups page & its a sample of whats going to happen to outlaws, inlaws and extra terrestials .

wife demands that i shave, gone is 22 year beard.  Says crazed biker look is dead. ?????????

Once ya get over 60 and have all that grey , she says it makes us look OLDER and all GEEZER looking.  So in order to be able to chat up the lovely cashiers and not scare them away, i show them my baby face young looking guy , good looks .\

Now THAT'S a good one Herbie downloads a photo of Mike and has it on his desktop. Herbie then takes a dart and throws it at the computer screen. That's pretty funny!
