Aw come on Mike show us the non-geezer look. We won't throw darts at it. Might use it to scare off the neighbor cats though.

Well, well, this old thread has come back. But Mike was/is right, trying to check something out on Yahoo groups is like trying to fish with two poles-one to lure the fish in and then another to actually catch it.
Freerails: check out a thread and it is much like looking at a printed magazine, the photos and words are on the same page...simple.
Yahoo: you get a notice that someone has posted something, click on it and find some verbage about a photo/photos that have been uploaded. Then you click on photos and get to see what is being written about. For an old fart like me (and I suspect many of you), by that time we have forgotten what the words are about and what relation it has to a photo which may or may not be the subject of...well, you know what I mean.
Yahoo has it's place, it's OK for "getting the word out"...unless the list owner has to "approve" the messages (scan them for political correctness, etc.) and then allow or delete the post. Whaaaat?
As John figured out...its a case of delayed action, or maybe we just got YAHOO-ED !

You can tell it's a slow morning for me...

It doesn't matter if you win or lose, its' how you rig the game.
