A new thread for me to infect everyone with. I thought that nobody (that I have seen lately) has any photos of funny stuff on their layouts or dioramas, so I am sending this little tableau along.

The morning train is being delayed by some shenanigans of a local resident-Mr Cox's crazy old mule. He just won't move, in spite of Bunky the dog's constant barking...and one of the train crewmen is in a most vaunerable position while trying to assist the animal. The conductor is standing on the platform of the coach in total disbelief that the fellow is trying to push the errant critter. Something is indeed fixin' to happen!

                              Woodie

PS-anybody with funny stuff, please send them...who knows, this might get something started.

Herbie-you don't see the real humor of the scene...it's what happened after the photo was taken!

OK then, here's another picture. This one shows Uncle Bob proudly showing off his new brass Mason Bogie to the crew of MRy's Shay #5. Bob stopped by on his way to Florida with this little lokie in his truck. Bob has changed from 7.5" gauge to 12" gauge because of the deal he got on the new loco. The fun part is that Bob will have to drive that old Ford TT truck from New Mexico with his new little toy. Good luck, Unk!

For those so interested, the HOn30 Joe Works 2-6-6 belongs to Gary Brewer...it will soon be painted up almost as much as one of the Gila ladies.
