:glad:

As a follower of the "10 foot rule", I hearby declare my lokie complete (for now). It lacks great detail and weathering yet it's suitable for my purposes (sitting on display). It began life as a Bachmann Porter, was stripped down to just the drives, the stock motor/gearbox (which was rotated 90° to a vertical position), 80% of the frame and a few detail parts being reused.

Boiler, smokebox, firebox, side tanks, cab, cab frame, steam chests, cylinders, cylinder frame, fuel barrel tank (being an oil burner) and headlight are entirely scratchbuilt. The engine sports a Losi ESC with 4AA NiMH battery power.

True enough. I'll probably add little details and do some light weathering over the coming months as the mood strikes me. I've been wanting to get started on my next lokie but felt it would be better to finish this one first. :)

DW-I love her! All she needs is a little "nasty" and a dude at the throttle and you can bring her down here to me so I can take care of her. GREAT WORK!

I've got a couple of dudes for these lokies. Not sure she'd fit on your track since it's a bit larger than your stuff. :)

Dwayne-since she's r/c, I don't need no stinkin' track to run her. I still have some 45MM gauge track somewhere in the garage if it bothers you..

Only some kind of a dork would have--or at the VERY least post a picture of-- a driver set that he had with WHITE tires.  :td::td:

Please correct this immediately, and where ever it came from, chastise that person!
