Whilst exhibiting Two Sister’s farm the other weekend I took a few photographs of one of the other exhibits at the Beds and Bucks narrow gauge modeller’s open day. I thought you might like to see them.
It is called Mannin Middle OOn3 showing The Isle of Man in the Summer of 1964.
I think it was the tractors and rural look that attracted me.
Great pictures - and modelling. If you hadn't said, I would have thought it was all to a larger scale than OOn3.
I can see why you like the general "look" of the layout - the scenery is excellent.
Apart from the road vehicles - and the "clothes" the people on the layout are "wearing" - the advert for "Camp" coffee syrup helps set this scene in the past. I haven't seen the stuff in the shops for years (not that I've exactly been looking for it - although it was something my late grandmother was used to, I've always preferred a decent filter coffee).
Returning to the topic, I must admit that I particularly like the railcars.
