This one's old, its from when I worked Mine Ride @ Knott's, but I haven't changed that much.  Well...I don't wear the flannel and hat. (Well, unless I head down to Old San Diego...fits the "theme" there)

Hi all,

just uploaded two pix into the gallery to provide a face to the name and check out the new features.

First Pic shows me watching out of a class 103 electrical engine. The original picture was made on film and I took a shot with flash from it. The picture is from a nice sunny day in 2003. This engine class is no longer in regular use and there are only but a few still in existence. The engine originates from the 1970's, has 6 axles, weighs 114t (250.000lbs) works with 15kV at 16,66Hz from overhead wire and its power output was about 7.500kW (10.000 hp). Its speedlimit was 200km/h (125 mls/h).

The next shot was taken last september in Paris(France). This train has about 9600kW (12.800 hp) and it will work with different voltages and frequencies. It has a top speed of 320km/h (198mls/h) and operates in France (its origin), Germany and Switzerland.

One of those trains has run the world record of 574,8km/h (357mls/h) at 2nd April 2007.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TGV_world_speed_record

It is quite obvious that I, like many of us, use razor blades only for modeling purposes..

Hello all ,
there's only one Photo of me on the net (and for security reasons I wish to keep it that way) :

I'm the guy in the red T-Shirt down left . And yes - I'm the one that operates the Train , it's got 35 Streamliners , 2 locomotives , goes through a courve with a radius of 435mm , and ain't mine :).
