This is my first kit built car in many years.  Its a rail line kit with thinline decals.

I might add that the very small decals are a real challenge to apply.  I didn't have complete sucess with every one of them but I think it looks ok.

I welcome comments.

Thank you. I only used the stock items, so no added detail.  I don't have them anyway.

I never built one of the stock cars, but did build several of the D&RGW HOn3 Rail Line boxcars. I remember that when they came out, they were considered to be "state of the art" in their day, looks like they can still pass muster even by today's "standards" (who knows what they are!)
Lucas-I do know that fiddly little plastic air hoses on operating cars become a real headache and get ripped of very soon. OK for shelf sitters, but operators-not really good.

D&RGW stock car had different braking system and different doors. AMS is a really very nice model of stock car. http://www.elvastower.com/forums/index.php?app=downloads&module=display&section=screenshot&id=817

John-the link goes to a photo of a computer generated virtual stock car, not an AMS model or a real car. Does AMS make an HOn3 car anyway? Just curious.
