Phil-your blog about MATA is great! I am glad that you got to see & ride the old cars, your photos are especially nice.The new turntable is almost complete and new track is being laid into downtown Dallas and through a new park. I'll keep you posted on all this. As an aside, you probably remember the old Birney "Petunia"..I know the gent who owned her and for years, she sat in his back yard being a habitat for wasps and racoons. Naturally, I love riding in Petunia the most, she hits every rail joint hard and bumps through the switches but she's my favorite.
