I went on a day trip to North Wales the other weekend, unfortunately the weather was very wet and windy. I haven’t been to Wales for many years and had no idea of its existence so coming across this little railway was a very pleasant surprise. I managed to take a few pictures of the Conway Valley Railway at Betws-y- Coed mainline station before the camera got too wet. It is 71/4 inch gauge and was being run with Douglas in steam.

Gwidir Castle was under cover but not working in the short time I was there.

The website gives more details.
