Hi Charley
Thanks for more great photos !
Looks like you're dusting 'the lint' out of those zip-drives...
&
...STRIKIN' 'THE MOTHER LODE' !!!
( don't want too much 'lint' about...
...can ruin a good paint-job ! )
-----
Charley, I was just looking at some of your pictures again.
I now see ( I think ) that the ones I was asking about the figures in; look a bigger scale than 1/2".
Maybe SM32, 16mm 2ft ?
Was judging this by the size of the AA batterys on your bench.
You just mentioned 1:32 as well.
Just reading between the lines...
...It seems to me you may have built in a larger-scale...
...& then maybe 1:32...
...and now your current project/scale is 1/2"n18.
Just trying to work out what I'm looking at.
Can you post the size of the scale & track with your photos...
...as you said some of your photos are from quite a long time-span.
Hope that makes sense.
Cheers
Si.

Hi again Charley
Yeah...
...I have swapped around in scales quite a bit.
1:48 1:24 even 1:12 !
I am now looking at 1:32 1:35
Now just returning to an interest in modeling...
...I am trying to work out what scale/prototype combination, will work for me now.
I have a bunch of 1:32 automobile models, so know this size for figures, but not yet for trains !
Cheers
Si.

Si , fellers..
I think each section is one scale or the other...The two lokeys.."Valhalla and Mizpah " are halfinch..the others are 1 : 32...for the most..?..
The SLM figgers are good enough to be known as halfinch scale..the others...the grey frnch guys..the guy with the flag..are 1;32 nd...
Hope that helps..

Si , fellers..
Thanks.., this is all fun and inspiration to each other..I stress the " fun"
..I seem to be able to understand alot without knowing it for sure..I put the ideas out with the hope that others will chime in with whot they know..or suppose..between us..we can know alot..
A buddy of mine says this is one method of teaching..supposition and response..?..
More fotos..
And yes..I have been doing SE ..Seven eighths..n 18" for some years..since about 1999...Rich Chiodo and Carlo Spirito suggested it as an alternative to 16 mil scale on 32 mil as two foot gauge ..I had the 32 nil gauge railway..and like extra narrow gauges...a natch...
More fotos..

Charley-sure is some good looking stuff! I remember seeing your articles in the old Light Iron Digest, they were my favorite parts of the mag. We would always love to see more...
