I shall try to fly the straight and narrow here after..
if you all will let me back in.."

Hi Charley

Holy miner 49ers Charley ! :old dude:

I was beginning to think that ol' prospector had gotten bit by a rattler in the desert !

I think you're allowed back in ... :P

... just gonna have to pay more dues ! ... :f:

... Unless you send us lots of pitchers of your models, here in your Thread ...

... to make up for wandering orf !! ;)

Nice Spanish tiles on your hacienda amigo ! :mex:

We could all stand more 1/2"n18 action, I'm sure of that much. :thumb:

Looks like the dogies gettin' them there pallets moved in styleee on the 1:1 as well. :pimp::pimp:

Keep it between the ditches !

Howdy Charwee! It's been quite a while since you were here...the layout is looking great! You know that I love adobe & Spanish tiles anyway.
Don't be a stranger.

Woodie

Hey ya all..
Nice to be back into this thread..I went through the whole set of posts..old home week..
The date of the building of the trammer is right there..boom..
I went out to Marvin's..Marvin not being there..he has left the building.,.,sadly..he is passed..
I had gotten permission from him to finish the lokey we were working on in the event of his leaving the building..Quonset hut..in this.case....I miss the old duffer..He taught me more about metal working than anybody else..AND...was a good friend..
I used his lathe to machine the wheel I have had cast...a seven spoke 10" tread diametre wheel..fotos today..,I machined the axle inside I.D. to fit a 1 1/4 " rod..Marvin was upping the wheels axles game..toward his end here..
I have four other wheels a fellow made for a movie set..they are not as neat..OR..as well made..kinda out of round..I cored one of those for 1 3/8ths pipe..pipe is not round..etc etc..but these wheels won't fit 1 1/4 " rod ..hole cast too big etc etc..
Fotos of those too..coming..
