After being coaxed by Don ( Paladin ) for some time I thought it about time I signed up. I have been reading Free Rails most mornings for the past 12 months so hey it's about time.

I have been modeling in N Scale since 1967 and still to this day. Since seeing Sn3 in early 2010 I new I had to get into Narrow Gauge as well so sold almost all of my wood working machinery and have been building an On30 layout in what was my woodworking shed. The most fun was trying to get my head around moving from 1:160 to 1:48 the size difference when starting is huge.

I must admit I am enjoying kit bashing some of the Bachmann Gas Mech's and the weathering that this larger scale allows.

I'm having a great time.

Rod.

Hi all- I check this out from time-to-time and it has been very interesting. I see that I have to sign up before I can say something, so here I am. I model in HO and have recently done a couple of On30 projects. Mike
