The management is looking to offer a further service to all our members, in the form of LIVE DISCUSSION GROUPS.

But they need your help to let them know what it is that you would like to see.

It can be anything related to model railroading, such as Track laying - Kitbashing - Electrics etc. or what ever you feel would be of interest, or maybe you have something to offer to others.

What would be of help is if you could let us know what it is that you would like to chat about, and a preferred day and time (Please include GMT ).

When this information is to hand we will post details here ( Subject Time and Date in GMT )

Now come on people do"'t be shy. There are some pretty clued up people on freerails and I for am only to happy to learn from the masters, on a one to one basis. Its a great place to ask all those silly questions. You are sure going to get an intelligent answer.

Just give us your preferred WHEN and Preferred SUBJECTS.

Once replies are to hand the program will be set.

Come on - just jump right in - if you can't swim someone will save you.

A good idea IMHO!

Preferred time: anytime between 8 and 12 in the evening EST (that would be 5 - 9 for you guys over on the west coast and i guess sometime during the next day around noon for you guys down under :bg:
Preferred subject: ANY as long as the participants stay on subject!

Wonder how many ppl we can get together?

Yes an Excellent Idea and Don deserves the credit for coming up with it:thumb:

Best time for me 7-9PM central that's 6-8 for e coast and 9-11 west coasters.

Might do well to have a down under time set up for same topic also.......seems we have a few aussies here( at least 4 i believe and another 1/2 dozen from great britain that might join in :))

Topics:

Weathering Locomotives & Rolling stock

Operating Methods

Trees.....Methods for specific species

Scratchbuilding Materials and Methods

Building a Model RR on a budget( or getting the best bang for your buck)

Model railroads What they really cost or ( How Many Turnouts do you need?? )

Rolling Stock............Superdetailing
