Casey if you or ya Dad have a topic for discussion please put it here along with your prefered time frame. I'm sure Don can sort out a time suitable to as many as possibe to be in on the discussion. We've had a maximum of 6 members attend so far, so don't feel left out as doing it at a time to suit you will most likely leave others out.

Don is doing a great job and as leader of the group it's only fair that these discussions are at a time to suit him.

Casey

I have noted your concern re times. As I am sure you will appreciate getting a time that is suitable to all is impossible, but to that end I have tried to get times that are suitable to the majority of interested parties. To this end the day has been moved forward from Monday ( USA) to SUNDAY (USA). We will see how that goes for awhile, please remember the most members also have a family and work commitments to fit in as well.

Should there be a subject that you would like, please let me know and we will see what can be done, but no promises.

These discussion groups to date have pretty much stayed on topic and cut to the point fairly quick, and have not been of a general nature such as General Chat. members have question and it is generally answered with in a few minutes. In other words it is not a debating forum, but a healthy and concise discourse.

Thanks for your efforts Don!
Unfortunately it's the 3rd time out of 3 that I am scheduled to work at these times :(
The more I appreciate it that you post a little summary.

Session #3 was held as scheduled and was attended by 9 members. I think in this case the subject may have been to far reaching, that being said I brelieve all had a fun meet.

Now help me out here. Give me some feed back and I will try to knock up a brief run down.

The one very obvious point that was made and discussed was the need to make a decission on space and scale. O scale structures are bigger than you think

I await your feedback on this meeting.

The next subject may be Selective compression Your suggestions please.

Mike and I were chatting earlier about different topics that could be suitable for discussion. And he mentioned that he would loke to see a session on DCC and talk about the benefits and disadvantages.

Keep the suggestions coming please

If we do a DCC night I will see if I can get a friend of mine to stop in....he is a busy guy I doubt it...but maybe just maybe...he is  certified from Digi tracks as a tech. He owns a local hobby shop that deals with trains and train related stuff only.  :p2:
