Well, as I have to wait for work in the layout, I´ll be working in these modules for a friend. He asked me if I could build a couple of modules for show in the comming conventions in Europe since next november.
Te basic frame was made from 1x2 pine lumber. The fist module will hold the trestle under construction, I have all the bents built and have to mount and laid track.

The other module is the camp. The bunk house is 3mm MDF covered with adhesive veneer.

Painted and weathered.

I planned to add interior lights, so, I didn´t like the idea of an empty building in its interior... soooo, I added some stuffs...

There are som laser cut furniture and others are from scratch.

I also did a tool sheed. With some Rusty Rails resin castings.

Very nice Lucas!   Rusty Rails has some nice castings and you make them look good with your finishing.

Lucas, you do very fine work!

Aspiring structure modelers should study Lucas work on the bunk house--the window sash mutins are fine and crisp.

Little details--the electric service, the stove pipe--

The roof is scale thickness--

All things that make the model look real. And you have to admire folks that put the work that he did into an interior that  a lot of viewers won't even realize that is there.

Well done!

Herb

Muchas gracias amigos!! Herb, most of the time I spent in internet is watching the masters like Brian Nolan, Chuck Doan, Steve Pettit, Troels Kirk, Dan Pickard, Jim Vail, Laurie Mc Lean, Dave Burroughs, etc... And learned a lot from them. I´m only a guy who want to do the things the best as I can, and why not to show here... the perfect circle.

Here are some closeups.

Playing with the modules for test the buildings and track. You can see two pieces of flex track, the one in the foreground is ME 0n30 and the other is PSC 0n3, but module will be 0n30.

Also, working with the San Juan Pile Driver, awesome kit and easier than the Wiseman I´m working on too. The BLI C-16 will take part of the MOW train and am detailing and doin´ some upgrades.
