Hi Rob





Yes I can sit in my chair while operating the small British shunting layout. It is just below eye level and because the viewing section is only six feet long.



Benson the American switching layout could be operated from the chair but would not be very practical as it is 13 feet long. I tend to walk up and down with a hand held controller on a long lead. I have to do this as the points are manually (wire in tube ) operated.



I must say it makes for a very snug little den.

Yes Si that is a F1 Ferrari driving across the wall. It is of Michael Schumacher, it is a pen and wash drawing I did some years ago.
