here's a little set piece I've done as a demonstration for grass techniques (static grass, and hand-applied) which is quite fun. It's in 7mm, but I'll try and get some better photos.

Cheers,

Giles,
Some very nice work. I have used carpet underlay as a basis for grass. You have seemed to have captured the environment very well.

Very realistic I would say.

Can never have too much vegetation in an area like that

I would rate that at  :moose::moose::moose::moose: four moosies (very good), a rating system that used to be awarded to only the best work posted on FreeRails.

Hi Giles

Wonderful diorama base ! :)

I have never tried this static-grass.

Do you have any favorite materials ?

I'm wondering how you get it all in place so well ?

I love the depth created by the ditch, track & surfaced area.
