Heres a fun site from our neighbors to the north.

Life in the Cowichan logging country.

Theres quite a bit here and it makes for good reading. Someinteresting little tidbits regarding the use of trucks and the fact that tires were not tough enough until the inventing of Rayon to take heavy loads. One of the reasons it took trucks as long as it did to take over logging from railroads.

Of course the inventing of the Cat bulldozer for making roads didnt hurt either ;)

Chris, yes he does (i sent for the catalog and recieved it 3-4 weeks back)

Well worth the couple bucks to know what he has , and lets face it, at 2.00 bills only covering his cost plus postage.

Now precision scales catalogues are a bit more !!! :D

Heres another link that is great for your logging and mining RR supply needs.

Particularly in On30, On3 and O scales.

Kieth Wiseman sells on Ebay and many i am sure are familiar with him.

He is also the yahoo group Model Loggers list owner.

His website is here and Kieth has much to offer including professional model building and painting services.

One day I hope he stops in here and says Hi to the group but I know he is a busy man!!!
