HIYA....

Does anyone know if there are any small ships, ie minesweeps frigats or destroyers in 1/35?
All I found were PT boats, and that might work for the module I'm playing with in my mind but I was hoping there might be something bigger..

Search "1/35 boat" on ebay and you'll get a bunch of hits ... I'm not up on boats to know what's useful to you there (do see river patrol boats and a barge on the first page of results) ...  even if you don't want to buy there, you'll find out who makes what ... then it's easier to track down those items on the web.  You can also try "1/35 ship" ... but that search gets funked up a bit, because any listing for 1/35 stuff with free SHIPping gets included in the results ... but there are some actual ships in there.  No ship!  Would I kid you? ;)

One of the things I've found is that 1/35 scale seems to be completely dominated by military models. I searched and searched for a 1/35 scale Model A Ford to no avail. I ended up settling for a 1/32 scale one instead.

Hey Smoke--

Find a 1/35th aircraft carrier, and build a N scale micro on the deck---

HIYA....

Well the thought was a module that would showcase what is mostly available, military stuff.
So I thought about a 2 foot line running from bunkers to a pier bringing all sorts of military supplies to be loaded onto the ships/boats.
But I have only found 3 different types of boats that are 1/35". PT boats, UDT boats and river patrol boats.
If I went with the PT boat I can get some really nifyy laser etched torpeados and there would be almost all sorts of ammo boxes from. 30 Cal all the way up to. 40 mm ( but I'm unsure when they put the. 40's in)
But what I actually wanted to do from the start was model a coal pier.
I have a feeling a man of war that ran on coal and is modeled in 1/35 though would
