A true American hero and what's really cool, he got to fly the Jug. He must have lived quite a life. One to be celebrated and not mourned. Farewell, Bill. The world and this country are a better place because of you. We'll miss you in your absence but we look forward to the day we get to see your smiling face again.

RIP Bill.
Mike

Thank you Phil, I think Bill would have liked that.

Howdy friends, yesterday (Friday 12/7/12) Bill was laid to rest along side his parents and brother. It was a nice ceremony with quite a few folks showing up, Bill didn't run off as many friends as he thought! The cemetary in Waco is a historic one being the eternal home of several Texas governors, statesmen, Confederate soldiers, controversial characters, Bill's family, and my parents and grandparents. My friends Dave C and Joe B went there with me, Pam had to work and couldn't get a replacement. After the ceremonies, we went to Waco's famous Elite cafe where the notorious David Koresh (Branch Davidians) had coffee every morning until the "siege" began.
So now, the real work begins for me...cleaning up Bill's home (mine) and getting my junk from the garage into a less dusty place. Thanks to all and as Bill might say (and I always say)
TAKE CARE AND RUN A TRAIN TODAY

Woodie
