Hey I like that idea. I've got one of those Monagram Plastic Hudson's I could use to do that with. Smoke box out the front and tender out the back. Neat idea.

A number of places did something similar with old tramcars.

Not really to my taste (I prefer to see the things complete and running), but I suppose at least some parts of them get kept (as opposed to all parts getting scrapped).

I'm sure they also prove to be a talking point in the surrounding areas.
