Indeed it is, I remember running across that discussion a while back, or at least some time last year. Good looking railroad he has, and some great info for a sectional layout.

To give an old topic a bump.

I found this photo today:

I think its a great photo. I begin to wonder how the ties are attached to the bridge. Some clamps on the underside of the ties perhaps, which clamp on the horizontal part of the I-beam?

Having cut the superfluous elements: https://www.flickr.com/photos/amsterdamned74/3971111863 will work better. BTW, one can identify the additional i-beams under the ties that have been riveted in.
Anyway it's all Greek to meHere's the bridge with a train.
