Herb,

My layout is going to be small enough that it wont amount to too much. Besides, we have a don't ask don't tell policy about things like that... Until the cost gets way up there. At the speed I work, I'll be under that level all the time.

Not that I want to tempt you in any way, but perhaps for later times

Yes... I know, I know, (to quote Sybil Fawlty). I've been building my tramway for over 2 years, I have a study with 7 cars on the shelves, 3 are operational and I go to stupid lengths with detail, I spend 4 hours making a little padlock for the track cleaner car; why, I really don't know. But when I take a deep breath I realise I'm getting all the pleasure I want from actually building things, I suspect I'll be finished before the tramway is.... then I get ideas about "just knocking up a short length of track on a base" that I can take to shows to inspire others to get into this side of things...
Could be my PTSD rearing its head....
I have come to only one conclusion even if I worked 24/7 there still would not be enough time in the day....

And as the years go by, the days get shorter!
