The problem with pi, is the multiplying effect it has on my diameter...

That's my job.

I have on my calendar to bring it back each year.

How about a 'Raspberry Pi'...
...yum yum !

Might be able to calculate to even more decimal places than Herb managed...
...He's only got Einsteins 40s' vacuum-tube computer to work with.

Cheers

Right on, Si

When I try to make it work too hard, the flat leather belts start to slip.

At least I don't have to hand crank it, like the last one.

All the wheels with gerbils running inside make a nice background hum.

To insanity--and beyond----

Hi Herb

I didn't realise your computer was MECHANICAL !

I thought you had 20,000 RCA-6SN7's wired together in the basement.
The air-con bill would probably be more than the juice to run the CPU.

I think they ran something like this at 'Area 51' back in the day...
...perhaps Charley might know something about it.

Talking of which...
...where's he got to ?
Maybe the Fed's got 'im for unauthorised NG photography.

A lot of alien-abductions on Pi-Day so urban-myth has it.

Oh well...
...I'm mail you a couple more gerbils Herb...
...might get your Pi acuracy up by a few more digits !

To beyond--insanity--and...

Cheers

Si.

a McDuh hamburger is also 100% vegetarian, as follows:

Bread is made of flour, made of wheat (hopefully).
Has tomato and lettuce (no brainer here).

Burger made of ground cow.
Cow eats grass.
So cow is made of grass.

I rest my case.

Nope.

Actually pumpkin and squash are FRUITS!

Seeds inside make it a fruit,

so you ate a fruit pie.

Hi all,

L:  Of course in other parts of the world where the day of the month precedes the month,

Pi-Day is still coming - 22nd July = 22/7 = Pi.  :)
