Forrest, the Penrhyn R also had another type of frog, very similar to your second Patent link - a centrally pivoted section of rail that either swung 'straight' or 'diverge'.

Si : NO ONE ELSE has a coal fired computer that requires daily oiling before raising steam. The last 'fix' you suggested (PixlR) wasn't anthracite compatible but I'll happily try another, thanks.
